Heart
Human Heart is fantastic machine. It beats about 80 times for a minute. That is almost 7 million times a day. The main job of heart is to pumps blood to the lung and throughout the body. Human heart has four chambers. The upper chamber is called atrium. There are two atrium, right atrium and left atrium. And other chambers are called ventrikel. Like atrium, there are two atriums also.
Right atrium receives blood from around body pumps it to right ventricle. Right atrium is separated with right ventricle by a valve. That valve is called mitral valve. Like other organ in the body, mitral valve can be broke by some disease. If mitral valve is in very bad condition, mitral valve repair or mitral valve replacement could be an option to save people life. That mitral surgery is complicated operation. So, only a few surgeon and hospital can do that operation.
Heart is powerful machine. Heart is composed of cardiac muscle tissue that is very strong and able to contract and relax rhythmically throughout a person’s lifetime. But, like a machine, heart can be broke also. Keep your heart healthy by doing routine exercise and eat healthy food.
